On the 18th November 2008, I visited the school in Van Zylsrus to perform my duties as an official of the Northern Cape Education Department. On our way out, we stopped at the hotel to buy some drinks for the long road back to Kuruman. The experience was overwhelming. I promised myself that I will visit the hotel, not as a passer-by, but a guest. The place is "art alive", unique and a tranquill experience. Congratulations of the impeccable work done and the manner in which you integrated the use of art into your hospitality business and also promoting the Kalahari as a tourist destination.
